Company Overview The Butcher Shoppe (TBS) is one of the largest meat processors in Ontario located in the Toronto area. Our meats are carefully selected for quality and consistency to achieve the highest standards for our customers. Through the timely heritage of artisanal butchery, over 100,000 lbs of meat are processed daily and fulfilled by a team of butchers who convert fresh meat to custom specifications. Our distribution network uses a fleet 45 company trucks that make over 1,000 deliveries every day to customers across Ontario including premier hotels, casinos, event venues, restaurants, and foodservice establishments. Summary: Reporting to the Assistant General Manager (AGM), the Overnight Supervisor provides daily direction to the team members working the overnight shift within the retail store, to include: sales floor replenishment, merchandise presentation, seasonal resets, inventory management and price change execution. Responsibilities: Delegates tasks and work assignments to team members by giving clear and concise direction and follow up to ensure proper execution. Ensure adherence of all standard operating procedures and processes by team members, following up to provide training and guidance when needed. Maintains visual presentation standards including in-store signage, proper execution of merchandise directives and planograms, merchandise recovering/front facing and general daily recovery ensuring a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers. Ensures nightly replenishment of sales floor from backstock inventory, as well as new replenishment from the Distribution Centers and direct vendor deliveries. Supports inventory management in partnership with the Inventory Control team by completing on demand counts, empty peg scanning, pick requests, display integrities, etc. during off peak business overnight. Supports the AGM with coordination of all âSpecial Eventsâ; maintenance of pricing and UPC integrity; determining proper assortments; accuracy of inventory; proper display, tagging, signing, and pricing of all advertised items. A Utility Team Member responsibilities include collecting used dishes, plates and utensils, loading dish washing machines and stacking washed items appropriately. In addition, collecting garbage, sweeping, mopping and upkeep of the overall cleanliness of the facility inside and out.
