Mailroom Clerk Location: Bay Street & King Street Area, Toronto Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30/5:00 p.m. Schedule: Full-time, in-office, Monday to Friday We are seeking a reliable and organized Mailroom Clerk to support the daily mail and courier operations within our professional law office. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the timely distribution and collection of mail, packages, and courier items while providing excellent customer service to staff throughout the office. Key Responsibilities Sort, process, and distribute incoming mail and packages to staff throughout the office. Pick up and deliver mail, packages, and other items from designated office pickup stations and work areas. Prepare and coordinate outgoing shipments using courier services such as FedEx, Purolator, and United Messenger. Apply postage and process outgoing mail through Canada Post. Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing courier and mail activity. Respond to staff inquiries in a professional and courteous manner. Ensure mailroom operations are carried out efficiently and accurately. Assist with other office services duties as required. Qualifications And Skills Previous experience in a mailroom, office services, or similar environment is considered an asset. Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail. Ability to maintain accurate records and manage multiple tasks effectively. Strong communication and customer service skills. Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a professional office environment. Physical Requirements Position requires occasional physical activity, including lifting, carrying, and moving packages weighing up to 30 pounds. Summary: Reporting to the Retail Manager - Operations, the Overnight Clothing Processing Outfitter assists in the overall operational function of the retail store by reducing the amount of non-selling tasks conducted by the Sales Outfitters, allowing them to focus on legendary customer service and selling opportunities. Responsibilities: Conducts general replenishment for all areas including Fishing, Hunting, Camping, Marine/Water Sports, Apparel, Footwear, Hunt Clothing and Gifts. Supports inventory management in partnership with the Inventory Control team by completing on demand counts, empty peg scanning, display integrities, etc. Performs temporary and permanent price change execution including tagging, signage and inventory adjustment review. Performs recovery tasks across departments including folding, repackaging, sorting, facing and re-hanging. Supports visual merchandising for assigned areas including fixture replacement, updating signage, updating end caps, visual merchandising directives, floor moves and mannequin dressing, prep and setup of merchandise for ads and perform resets for assigned departments when required. Support planogram execution and maintenance through all hardlines departments. Supports OMNI fulfillment during peak business. Demonstrates exceptional customer service and ensures a pleasant shopping experience for all customers. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications: One or more yearsâ experience in a sales or service environment is preferred. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
