Your responsibilities The Spinning Disk Confocal Specialist role requires that you work closely together with the European Life Science Sales Teams (Territory Managers and Senior Sales Specialists). You are responsible for supporting the direct sales team and distributors in driving the sales process for our spinning disk confocal systems, alongside other high-end life science microscopy systems, in your territory (primarily Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Eastern Central Europe), covering both direct and indirect sales. During the sales process you will have meetings with customers to present our product portfolio, and you will organize and perform in a convincing way onsite system demonstrations as well as remote demonstrations, providing your expert knowledge to solve customers’ applications and issues. The product portfolio mainly consists of confocal laser scanning microscopes, spinning disk and TIRF microscopes, slide scanners and SMLM systems. You are responsible for achieving the agreed sales target for your products and territory as well as a team target. As a Spinning Disk Confocal Specialist for Advanced Life Science Systems, you are - together with Sales Management - responsible for observing market trends and proposing and developing strategic sales activities to further develop our business and success in the market. Due to the territory, you will be responsible for, you ideally live in Germany or Austria, with good connection possibilities to highways, train stations and airports. Class B driver's license is mandatory. Home Office based worker.
