Job Description â Quantity Surveyor (QS Engineer)Position Quantity Surveyor / QS Engineer â Civil Construction Project: Commercial Hotel Construction Project Location: Vijayawada / Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh Site: Daspalla Project Site Experience: 5+ Years Employment Type: Full-time, Site-based Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor / QS Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in civil/building construction to join the project team for a commercial hotel construction project in Vijayawada/Amaravati. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in quantity estimation, BOQ preparation, rate analysis, measurement, subcontractor billing, client billing, material reconciliation and cost control . Candidates with experience in commercial buildings, hotels, high-rise buildings or large-scale building projects will be preferred. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review BOQs, quantity take-offs and estimates for civil and finishing works. Prepare detailed quantity calculations from architectural, structural and MEP drawings. Conduct regular site measurements and maintain accurate measurement records. Prepare and verify contractor/subcontractor bills based on actual site measurements. Review subcontractor RA bills, work orders, measurements and supporting documents. Prepare client bills / RA bills and ensure timely submission. Carry out rate analysis for various civil, structural and finishing items. Monitor project quantities against the BOQ and identify variations. Prepare and maintain variation statements, extra items and deviation statements. Track project costs and assist in maintaining effective cost control. Reconcile quantities of key materials such as cement, steel, concrete and other construction materials. Coordinate with the Project Manager, Site Engineers, Planning Team, Purchase Team, Accounts Team and subcontractors.
