Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings, LLC is looking for an Unexploded Ordnance Tech II to support our government customer located at Andros Island in the Bahamas. Seeking an Unexploded Ordnance Tech II to support the Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center (AUTEC) Mission in Andros Island, Bahamas. AUTEC is a Major Range and Test Facility Base (MRTFB) and the Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport's largest single team project, providing both deep and shallow water test and training environments. The Unexploded Ordnance Tech II is responsible for performing handling, preparation, post run and transport of exercise torpedoes and associated equipment in accordance with NAVAIR/NAVSEA/NAVFAC guidelines on the AUTEC project. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance. DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance and repair on exercise torpedoes (MK-46/MK-50 REXTORP's, MK-48, MOD 4, 5, 6, 7 and MK-46, 54 EXTORP's) and associated equipment in accordance with NAVAIR/NAVSEA guidelines. Operate tractor-trailer, forklift, and overhead cranes per NAVFAC guidelines. Conduct rigging operations of heavy equipment per NAVFAC standards. Handle, package, transport hazardous ordnance material up to 1.1 per NAVORD standards. Operate torpedo data extraction computer per NAVSEA standards. Operate and maintain the breathing air system in support of the torpedo operations. Operate and maintain breathing air system. Performs other duties as assigned. REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: AS/AA Degree or equivalent. Valid driverâs license and passport will be required. One (1) or more years of certification in forklift, tractor-trailer, and overhead crane operations. Must pass NAVOSH/OSHA respirator certification upon hire. Access Line paralegal duties include answering phones, performing eligibility screening, entering client information into a database, writing case notes, giving advice under the supervision of an attorney, scheduling appointments, sending appointment letters and follow-up information to clients, and providing outside referrals. Access Line paralegals may also be asked to perform off-site intake outside of regular business hours.
