Swarmaero
Swarm Aero is redefining air power, building the largest swarming UAV and the most versatile swarming aircraft network in the world. The company is moving quickly to launch the first aircraft designed specifically for swarming, as well as the Command & Control software to mobilize swarms of thousands of heterogeneous autonomous assets and empower human operators to achieve superhuman results. The team has created and exited multiple startups, negotiated defense deals worth billions of dollars, and designed and built 30+ novel aircraft, with aerospace experience from Scaled Composites, Airbus, Archer Aviation, Blue Origin, and Boom Supersonic. Mission Turn clear product direction into exceptional, implementation-ready product experiences. This role exists to dramatically increase the speed at which product ideas become real. You will work directly with the Head of Product to take written product specifications, workflow descriptions, existing product patterns, screenshots, and rough Figma-frame descriptions and turn them into polished, coherent, buildable designs. This is a highly execution-oriented design role. We are looking for someone who can move quickly from concept to detailed UI without requiring constant direction or extensive design ceremonies. What You’ll Own Translate detailed product specifications into high-quality Figma designs. Design workflows for complex command-and-control and operational software. Take rough frame descriptions and independently determine layout, hierarchy, interaction details, and edge cases. Build and maintain reusable Figma components and patterns. Maintain consistency across the product as new capabilities are introduced. Work closely with engineering to ensure designs are understood and implementable. Review implemented functionality and identify discrepancies between design intent and the built product. Help evolve the overall UX architecture of Legion as the product expands. Rapidly iterate based on operator, engineering, a…

About Swarm Aero Swarm Aero builds Group 5 autonomous aircraft and Legion, our command and control platform for coordinating UAV swarms. We're backed by Founders Fund, Khosla Ventures, and Coatue, and our software is already running on real programs and real hardware. Legion is the layer operators actually touch, and it needs to ship fast, run reliably, and deploy anywhere our customers need it. The role You'll be a core member of the team that builds and runs the infrastructure behind Legion. Working alongside our DevSecOps lead, you'll own day-to-day pipelines, environments, and deployments so our engineers can move quickly without breaking the things operators depend on. This is a hands-on role for someone who likes building systems more than writing tickets about them. What you'll do Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines that take Legion from commit to production across multiple environments Manage infrastructure as code for cloud and on-prem deployments Run and scale containerized services on Kubernetes Build out observability: monitoring, logging, alerting, and on-call tooling Package and deploy Legion to customer environments, including travel to customer and test sites when deployments require it Partner with our DevSecOps lead to bake security and compliance requirements into the platform from the start Help engineers ac…

About the Role We've built an autonomy stack that already runs on real programs and real hardware, and we designed it to be platform-agnostic from the start. The next step is the one that matters most: scaling it onto our own aircraft to field the largest drone swarm in the world. We're looking for a Software Engineer, Autonomy to own that stack and lead the work. This is a high-leverage technical role. You'll own the architectural direction for the perception, planning, and control systems running onboard every vehicle in the swarm, and you'll raise the bar for the autonomy engineers building around you. What You'll Do Own and evolve our autonomy stack, extending proven robotic foundations with agentic AI for onboard reasoning, adaptation, and swarm coordination at scale. Harden and extend the inter-robot and C2 communication protocols behind tactical swarm decision making on the edge, including under degraded and contested comms. Revisit and defend the hard technical tradeoffs as we move to aircraft and scale: onboard vs. offboard compute, centralized vs. distributed decision making, determinism vs. adaptability. Some of our current answers carry over. Some won't survive the move to airborne compute and contested comms. You'll decide which. Take autonomy capability from integration and test into fielded operation, and close …
