Als AI Product Engineer übernimmst du Probleme unserer Nutzer End-to-End: vom Verständnis des Problems über Architektur, Backend und Frontend bis zum Deployment. Du prüfst, ob die Lösung im Klassenzimmer wirklich funktioniert. Dein Schwerpunkt liegt auf AI Engineering: Du baust die agentischen Systeme, die paddy ausmachen, und bringst sie zuverlässig, schnell und bezahlbar in Production. Aufgaben Product Engineering Erfahrung: Mindestens drei Jahre Erfahrung in der Entwicklung und im Betrieb moderner Webanwendungen mit TypeScript, Node.js, Next.js und React, in einem Produktteam mit echten Nutzer. AI Engineering Know-how: Du hast LLM-basierte Features oder agentische Systeme gebaut und in Production betrieben. Du verstehst Context Windows, Failure Modes von Modellen, RAG, Vektor-Datenbanken und warum Prompts ohne Evals nicht fertig sind. Kein ML Research nötig, aber echtes technisches Verständnis statt Feature-Ebene. Technisches Fundament: Du bist sicher in API-Design, Datenbanken (SQL, NoSQL und Vector), Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) und CI/CD. Dein stärkster Schwerpunkt darf Backend und Architektur sein, aber du bist kein enger Spezialist.
